Pay After Pass

1-Step, 2-Step or 3-Step at FundedAxe: Which Should You Take?

Three upfront paths, three different risk profiles. A direct comparison of targets, drawdown and fees so you can pick the path your strategy actually passes.

Pay After Pass runs a single 1-Step path, so the choice of shape lives on the upfront FundedAxe Pro programmes. None of them has a time limit. What changes is the target, the loss limits, the consistency rule and the price.

The 1-Step: fastest, tightest daily limit

One 10% target and you are funded. The trade-off is a 4% daily loss limit rather than 5%, a 7% max loss rather than 10%, and a 50% consistency rule while you are being evaluated. It suits traders with a consistent, low-variance edge who want the shortest route and can go a whole session without a 4% drawdown.

The 2-Step: the balanced default

8% then 5%, with a 5% daily limit and a 10% static max that stays static once you are funded. The extra phase costs you time but buys back three percentage points of drawdown room, and it is the one path with no consistency rule. This is the path most traders should default to.

The 3-Step: gentlest targets, most phases

6% per phase across three phases, a 5% daily limit and an 8% static max — $449 on a $100,000 account against $455 on the 1-Step. It suits smaller, steadier strategies and anyone who would rather clear three easy bars than one hard one.

Total percentage you must produce

PathTotal target across all phasesDrawdown room
1-Step10%7% static / 4% daily
2-Step13%10% static / 5% daily
3-Step18%8% static / 5% daily

The 1-Step asks for the least total gain; the 3-Step asks for the most but spreads it across three gentler phases. That is the whole trade.

Frequently asked questions

Which FundedAxe path is easiest to pass?

The 3-Step has the gentlest per-phase target at 6%, but requires 18% of total gain across three phases. The 1-Step needs only 10% total, though it caps daily loss at 4% and adds a 50% consistency rule.

Does the path change the funded account rules?

Yes. A funded account from the 1-Step path runs a 7% trailing max loss and a 4% daily limit; the 2-Step funds at 10% static and the 3-Step at 8% static, both with a 5% daily limit.

Trading operations & risk

The people who write the rules, review the accounts and approve the rewards at FundedAxe. When a guide quotes a FundedAxe number, it comes straight from the live program catalogue rather than a marketing deck.

FundedAxe evaluations and funded accounts are simulated. Traders do not trade real client capital; rewards are paid on simulated performance under the terms of the FundedAxe trader agreement.
