General advice is in how to pass a prop firm challenge. These ten are specific to how FundedAxe's rules actually behave.
- Use the end-of-day daily limit properly. Your daily loss is assessed on the closing balance. An unrealised drawdown that recovers before the close does not count — which means you do not need to panic-close a position that is temporarily against you.
- Let static drawdown work for you. Through the evaluation the maximum loss never trails. Every dollar of gain permanently increases your buffer, so a strong first week genuinely de-risks the rest of it. Once funded, 1-Step, Instant and Pay After Pass accounts switch to a trailing maximum loss.
- Take the zero minimum trading days seriously. On Pay After Pass there is no counter to satisfy. If you hit the target in four sessions, stop trading and pass.
- Ignore the clock, because there is not one. No phase expires. Skipping a week costs you nothing.
- Pick the path from your worst day, not your best. If a 4% down day is realistic for you, the 1-Step's 4% daily limit is the wrong path. Take the 2-Step or 3-Step.
- Size at 0.5%. On an 8% static max that is sixteen consecutive full-stop losses of headroom.
- Set a personal daily stop at half the limit — 2% against a 4% limit, 2.5% against a 5%.
- Trade news if it is your edge. It is permitted on evaluations — just size for the spread widening, which applies to everyone. On funded accounts, profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of a high-impact release may be removed.
- Complete identity verification on day one, not when you pass. It is the most common cause of a delayed first payout.
- Ask support before deploying anything unusual — a copier, a commercial EA, a novel technique. A written confirmation beforehand is worth far more than an appeal afterwards.

Frequently asked questions
How do I pass a FundedAxe challenge?
Risk 0.5% per trade, set a personal daily stop at half the firm's limit, pick the path that suits your worst normal day, and use the fact that there is no time limit to skip sessions that do not offer your setup.
Does FundedAxe's end-of-day daily loss make it easier?
It is more forgiving than intraday-equity measurement. An unrealised drawdown that recovers before the daily close does not count against your daily limit, so a position that goes temporarily against you does not have to be closed defensively.
FundedAxe evaluations and funded accounts are simulated. Traders do not trade real client capital; rewards are paid on simulated performance under the terms of the FundedAxe trader agreement.
